Welcome to the Foundation Year, Prep FB, 2016. We are excited about our new classroom and friends at Holy Family School. Please take the time to look at us having fun with our school learning. In Literacy we are learning our alphabet sounds, having a go at story writing, doing lots of fun activities to help develop our handwriting skills and learning where to start reading, which direction to go and how to match word to print. We are learning to gather all our information before we start reading by looking at and discussing the pictures. At Mathematics time we are learning to sequence, identify and form our numbers to ten. We are also learning about two dimensional shapes and position words. Feel free to leave a comment and we will be happy to chat with you and answer any questions.

Our Fun Day at the Botanic Gardens Fun Park. 2015. What a wonderful play park this is. We all had a ball playing and laughing together. Prep FB would like to recommend this park as a good place to have a real adventure, lots of fun and exercise for all.

Holy Family School had a Book Parade. All the teachers and students dressed up as a book character. We had a fun time watching the role plays about books and watching each grade parade their costumes. It was a fun day had by all.

Our Home Play Corner. Prep FB had so much fun acting out family routines. We dressed up and pretended to be a mum, a dad, a brother, a sister or a grandparent. We cooked, cleaned, ironed, looked after the baby, talked on the telephone, read a magazine or the paper and enjoyed playing games and chatting about our day to all our family members. Holy Family Primary School had a fundraiser for the earthquake victims of Nepal. Prep FB were happy to take part in the Pyjama Day Fundraiser. We helped to raise over seven hundred dollars to help the poor families in Nepal.
