This is our first class photo. Mrs Brooks said this is a very important one because it is the first of many to come. Mrs Brooks said, ” not only are the boys and girls handsome and beautiful, but they are very smart too! I am a very lucky teacher. This is definitely a very special year.”

A sneek preview to Term Two! on PhotoPeach

Our Classroom at the end of Term One 2013. We have covered a great deal in only nine weeks of school. We have learnt many sounds, what a sentence looks like, our numbers to ten and and two dimensional shapes. We know our school surroundings, what we need for school so each day will run smoothly and the rules we have in our classroom so that we can all feel happy and safe. We haved prepared for a Welcome Mass, School Sports and Easter Reflection. We have enjoyed our school pancake day and looking after our baby chicks. We have listened to stories about Jesus, the Good Shepherd and we have enjoyed using our new ipads. Mrs Brooks said we are amazing and just too cool for school. She is very proud of all we have achieved. We can’t wait to see what we will be up to in Term Two. Keep watching to find out !

The Prep FB Classroom at the end of Term One 2013. on PhotoPeach

Congratulations Prep FB on your very first School Sports. You all participated enthusiastically and tried your very best in all the events. I was most impressed with your skill and technique. It was good to see you all showed good team spirit by encouraging and cheering for each other. You all listened to parent helpers and you were by far the best behaved grade. It was a lovely day and teachers, students, helpers all had a most enjoyable time.

Prep FB’s First School Sports. on PhotoPeach

HOLY WEEK SCHOOL REFLECTION. Holy Week is the most important event in our Church year. It starts with Palm Sunday, when Jesus rode his donkey into Jeruselum, followed by Holy Thursday, when Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with his friends, the disciples. Next, came Good Friday, when Jesus died on the cross and then Easter Sunday, when Jesus rose again.

Holy Week Reflection by Holy Family Primary School. on PhotoPeach

The chicks are now big enough to play with. Each day they are growing so much. They are becoming too big for us to keep so we will need to find them a home. Isobelle’s family have offered to give them a home and because she lives so close, we will be able to check their progress. Good luck little chicks, we will miss you all.
